MON ADRESSE -  Communicating my address.

Bonjour. Je m'appelle Nattapong. J'ai 15 ans.  Je suis thaïlandais. Je suis de Bangkok mais je n'habite pas à Bangkok. J'habite à Jakarta. J'habite à Pondok Indah. J'habite Sekolah Duta IX. J'habite au numéro 114 Jalan Sekolah Duta IX. Dans la photo je ne suis pas à Pondok Indah. Je suis à Monas, au centre de Jakarta.

POUR ÉTUDIER:
J'habite + rue (street)

1. J'habite rue Einstein.  I live on Einstein Street.
En anglais on utilise la préposition "on". En français il n'y a pas de préposition. In English we use the preposition "on". In French we don't use any preposition at all.
 2. J'habite au numéro 16, rue Einstein. 
I live at (the) Number 16, Einstein Street.
En anglais on utilise la préposition "at". En français on utilise la préposition au (à + le). In English we use the preposition "on". In French we use the preposition combo au (à + le).

We usually keep the original word for "street" when we are giving our address in a non-French speaking country. Here are some examples:

1. Harry habite Maple Street.
2. Linda habite au numéro 16 Eatonville Court.
3. María Magdalena habite Calle Ocho.
4. Raúl habite au numéro 14500 avenida de la República.
