Studying math, Gloria always has a headache. 

In English we form the gerund/ present participle by adding -ing to the verb: study to studying. 

In French we add -ant (-ER and -RE verbs), -issant (-IR verbs) plus a couple of irregular forms, like ayant for avoir.That's all I am going to say about this for now. Just keep your eyes and ears open- at least you know what that ending on the upper right hand side means !
